Happy Halloween!

The Superstar (AKA - Darth Vader) and the Princess (AKA - Raggedy Ann) had a super time for Halloween this year! We started celebrating this morning with a parade at school. The Superstar's buddy, the Pirate, was dressed as Anakin (the young Vader) and another buddy of his was dressed as Darth Vader too! Daddy brought up the Princess to see everyone - and for everyone to see her :) What fun!

We went outside around 6:30pm to do Trick or Treating. Vader and Ann walked around getting treats for 2 hours!!! I stayed back and passed out the candy. The weather was WONDERFUL and even a little bit chilly! It was a great night! I hope you enjoy all the pictures!

a day off...

We had the day off of school so we spent it together as a family - aww, how nice! We had to drop off our van for service (!!!!!!!!) and went shopping, to lunch, more shopping, and then to the BIG public library with the comfy kids' section.

It FINALLY has been slightly "cool" in the morning. Alright, it's not cool but it's not sweltering at 6:30 AM! The Princess is modeling her "cool weather" clothes:

Happy Birthday, Uncle Paul!

This weekend, Uncle Paul came down to visit us! We celebrated his birthday with a dinner out at The Olive Garden. The Pirate, Mermaid, and their mom came too. It was delicious and fun!

Karate Tournament

The Superstar participated in a karate tournament on Saturday. He performed his kata and sparred (fought) as well. He has learned so much in the year that he has been going to karate. Hurray! waiting for his turn...
