Double Rainbow

Somewhere, over the rainbow...
Beautiful!
Rainbows are God's promise to never flood the earth again. I also take it as His promise to never "flood" us or overwhelm us with too much stress! God will never give you more than you can handle. I'm trying to remember that myself these days.

Momma Duck!

There is a pair of expectant duck parents who have made a nest and laid eggs at our school! There are several eggs in the nest and the momma has been staying on them this past week. Exciting! The kids are spreading different rumors around about the eggs - a racoon ate them (gasp!), one started cracking open, etc. I've only seen the momma duck sitting on the nest so I can't say for sure what is going on with the eggs. This nest is right in the front "reception" area of the school, under the teacher's lounge window.

Renaissance Celebration

Our school celebration great grades, behavior and attendance with the Renaissance program. We have quarterly celebrations to celebrate the winners. The Superstar earned the GOLD (highest!) award again! Yay! Here are some pics from the 3rd quarter celebration we had on Friday:
