The superstar was invited to do a demo for his karate school. It was great! He did very well. Herbie and her dog, came over to watch too. Thankfully, she brought her camera with her since I forgot mine at home. The kids all had a chance to show off their "skills" and then they each had a turn to break boards. The last student to have a turn was a 15 year old black belt girl. Shihan (the master teacher at the school) gave her the chance to break a brick which she had never done before. Well, she broke it! I was very impressed! She's been studying at the dojo since she was 3 years old. We saw a few other kids from our regular elementary school too. The superstar even saw a girl from his kindergarten class.
It was VERY hot and after the demo we left and had lunch and then came home. We're planning on going out later tonight to see the fireworks with the pirate and the mermaid. We'll bring the bug spray!
