My life has led me to a wonderful family - my fabulous husband and two great kids - the Superstar and the Princess. Is my life wonderful too? I don't know, but this is it!

It's a MIRACLE!!
My husband's friend has been in the hospital since the beginning of May. He was diagnosed with severe/major heart problems. Only 20% of his heart was working! He did not know that he had heart problems. He had had a couple of heart attacks and a stroke. He was put into a medically induced coma and transported by helicopter to Tampa General. At first, he was considered to be the sickest patient in all of Florida. He had a pump put into his chest to keep his heart working/do the work his heart could not do until his body was stronger and would be able to have another major surgery to get another pump to keep his blood moving. He had the surgery to put the VAD (longer term heart pump in simple terms) in. He has spent the past 2 1/2 months working towards getting stronger. (Of course more has happened medically, this is just the very short version!) My husband just got a text message from his friend that he is HOME! He needs to keep working on getting stronger and healthier to be able to be put on the list for a heart transplant. This man is a medical miracle! It is amazing what his body has been through and where he is now. He is a married father of a 7 year old boy. I can see that God has done amazing work here. That's the only way this guy has survived. Amazing! What a miracle! May God continue to bless this family! We will continue to pray for his health to improve and for an eventual heart transplant. If you haven't filled out your organ donation card AND have talked about it with your family, DO IT NOW!!
